The idea of DockingFrames was born in the year 2001. A first prototype
was written and functioned more or less. But then other projects seemed to
be more important, and DockingFrames was forgotten.
Then in 2005 a restart was launched, and this time the project was a success.
The project was secretly developt for one and a half year, until it was ready to be presented.
These people have helped to improve DockingFrames:
- Janni Kovacs
By finding bugs I didn't imagine that they even could exist, by asking for features I considered nonsense, by writing the first StackDockComponent, and by having a critical question for every change I made.
By writing the initial version of the EclipseTheme.
- Ivan Seidl
By helping me understand, how hard it is to get into DockingFrames without proper tutorials or guides. By contributing a new set of icons for the BubbleTheme.
- Parag Shah
Being one of the first power users and providing valuable feedback.
- Thomas Hilbert & Steffen Kux
Thomas wrote a new fancy tab for the EclipseTheme. He also provided a new set of icons for the EclipseTheme.
Steffen wrote a library producing glass effects, this library was used by Thomas.
- Hervé Guillaume
He had the idea for the Toolbar Extension. He wrote and tested large parts of the extensions.
- Nicolas Roduit
Provided many small and major bugfixes, and sometimes updates the translations.
- Rocus Halbasch
Did update the maven files that had not been updated for years.
- ... and many more
Too many to list them all here. Thanks people for the feedback, patches, ideas and support you gave me.
